Music Technology student Jacob Sharp, aka chart-topping music producer Zodiac X, has featured on Express FM discussing his work, inspiration and career aspirations.

The talented 17-year-old is behind the track ‘Quit on This’, which was number one on Express FM charts for three weeks.

He was interviewed on the Paul Marsh show, talking about City of Portsmouth College, how it felt to have that hit, how lockdown helped him focus on music and his plans for 2024.

"It was such a great experience to be able to talk about my music on Express FM,” Jacob said later. “Going to the studios for the first time was something I've always wanted to do. It all shows that if you put the hard work in something will pay off on the other side." 

Music Technology Lecturer Gary Street said Jacob is exceptionally talented.
