At Highbury you can choose from a range of free training courses to support you in returning to work or further study.

We also run courses that will help if you'd like to become a volunteer or work in the local community. Courses can be taken at one of our IT Flexi Centres or as taught courses in the community.

A number of short taster courses are also available to get you started, including Preparing for Life and Work Tasters.

Our Make it WORK programme offers FREE training for anyone who is unemployed, been made redundant or at risk of redundancy. This work-focused training can help you get back into work as quickly as possible.


From Advert to Interview - Job Skills Level 1

Cost: FREE. This programme covers job search skills, creating a CV, application forms and a range of hints and tips in readiness for job interviews. This programme is 15 hours and can be studied at an IT Flexi Centre or online.


OCN London Entry Level Preparation for Life & Work

Cost: FREE. You can work towards this qualification at one of our IT Flexi Centres or as taught classes in the community.

NOCN Entry Level Community Development & Family Learning

Cost: FREE. This course is ideal for anyone who is considering working as a volunteer or who wants to get back into learning or return to work. Each module is a separate course. The course can be taken for two hours a week for five weeks.
