The plasterer is indispensable to most building sites, making walls and ceilings smooth and ready for decorating. This rewarding career can also include creating ornamental plasterwork (such as ceiling roses and cornices) using a mixture of plaster and short fibres shaped with moulds and casts.
There is no better place to learn than at Highbury Northarbour Centre, which is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the South East, with industry standard workshops and realistic working environments.
Alongside their programmes, students at Highbury are encouraged to use their skills to make a contribution to the local community.
We embed maths and English in all our lessons and depending on your current levels, you will have the chance to either improve your GCSE grades or gain valuable Functional Skills qualifications if required.
