Whilst on the programme you will learn the skills, knowledge and attitudes that you will need to progress into positive destinations. You will also develop the skills and knowledge that will help you to identify suitable work opportunities for the future; things like timekeeping, following instructions, working independently, team working and problem solving. You will be assessed in a variety of ways (activity, group work, photographic and video) which will be presented via a portfolio of evidence. As a student on the programme you will have weekly tutorials and receive regular feedback to discuss your progress. All of our programmes are planned around your individual learning needs, with every student having a timetable that clearly identifies the sessions that will be taught. You will be assigned a tutor who will support you throughout your time in College. Teaching, Coaching and Learning Support staff will work closely with you and your parents/carers to help you achieve planned learning goals. Our staff are experienced at delivering classes to meet your needs and will work with you to build your confidence and skills. Our Arundel Centre is a bespoke modern facility based in the heart of the city of Portsmouth. The Learning Centre is equipped with modern resources that will support you to achieve positive outcomes. As the programme develops you will be able to access other Highbury College facilities.
