Working with the Royal Society of Chemistry and Campaign for Learning, Highbury College is launching a FREE, family-friendly Chemistry Catalyst programme.

The programme includes four action packed chemistry sessions where children and their parents/carers create rockets, bath bombs, eco slime, crystals and meet a real NASA scientist.

The after-school sessions run every Wednesday from 3.30-5.30pm, start on 25th September and run until the end of November.

The course is ideal for families with children aged 7 to 12 years old but all ages are welcome.

College lecturer Tracey James said: ‘We’re looking forward to enthusing families about chemistry and hope to inspire some future scientists! We are also proud and excited to be working with such prestigious institutions on this exciting project.’

Campaign for Learning’s National Development Manager Gurpreet Keila said: "It has been a real pleasure working with the College, and it’s fantastic that it has supported such an exciting project."
