Cabrini has recently graduated for the prestigious London College of Fashion with an honours degree in Fashion Design Technology, but her journey to success started back in 2014 when she excelled on her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Fashion at Highbury College.
Commenting about her time at Highbury, Cabrini said: ‘To this day I still remember the lessons I’ve learnt from college, it made a massive impact on me now as a designer as it was the first stepping stone into my career. It made me focus, driven and hardworking. Truly, I am so grateful for everything Highbury College has taught me.’
Although Cabrini has more than eight thousand Instagram followers from around the world, she hasn’t forgotten her roots.
In 2012, Cabrini completed a work experience placement with craft studio, Making Space and is set to return as the studio’s newest resident maker.
Cabrini commented: ‘It’s so important to be inspired at a young age because those are the memories that will drive you to keep chasing your dream. And that’s exactly what Making Space did for me.’
Ami Hyde, Programming and Outreach Coordinator at Making Space, said: ‘We’re delighted to welcome Cabrini as one of our professional makers and she is an inspiration to all. We’re so pleased her brief time with us a few years ago has contributed to the success she’s now enjoying. That’s what Making Space is all about – supporting and developing creative individuals.’
