Industry experts, dignitaries, friends and family had plenty to view and enjoy including art exhibitions, a fashion show, JAMM radio show, cinema showreels, floristry displays and a hairdressing & beauty therapy showcase.
The evening was an opportunity for the College’s art, design, fashion, floristry, catering, travel & tourism, beauty therapy, hairdressing and digital media students to show off the fantastic work they create as part of their qualification.
Sector Lead in Media & Creative Technologies Kara Hall said: "We’ve had so much fantastic feedback saying how impressive and talented our students are – and I completely agree with them. The standard of work was amazing and it just showed how hard they worked to put together such an incredible evening. I’m proud of each and every one of them and they should be proud of what they achieved too.”
Special guest judges were warmly welcomed to the event, including Paul Stone, better known as contemporary artist My Dog Sighs, former student and 2019 Wedding Industry regional videographer finalist Nathan Cannon, Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winner Jo McNamara and former visual merchandising manager for Debenhams, Portsmouth Tracey Cleeve.
