Singer, songwriter and digital media student Chloe Lacey is set to join the University of Hertfordshire’s School of Creative Arts this September after accepting a place on the Songwriting and Music Production Degree course.

Chloe, who has been writing her own songs since the age of seven, recently produced and recorded three new singles with the support of The ChartHouse Recording Studio in Horndean. She’s also been invited to audition for SYCO Music, the music division of Simon Cowell's joint venture with Sony Music UK.

Alongside Chloe’s rapidly developing songwriting skills, she has also directed and produced multiple music videos as part of her Level 3 qualification in Creative Media Production with Highbury College.

Chloe said: “I wanted to study at Highbury College because it has the best media equipment and I love the atmosphere, it’s great.”

She added: “I’m so thrilled and excited to be going to university. There are many avenues my skills could take me down, I’m passionate about script and song writing and I’d love to work in musical theatre”.
