Our Foundation programme is designed for students who aim to enter top universities in the UK; in particular, we provide extra support for international students.

This programme is not tied in to any one university, so students can apply to whichever one they want. We have an excellent record of getting students into both the Russell Group and other top universities throughout the UK.

For international students, we offer free IELTS sessions alongside all other studies, including EAP (English for Academic Purposes) and Study Skills classes with tutorial support. Free Maths sessions are available if required.

We have 100% success rate for international students, and 42% of international students enter top universities each year.

Take their word for it…

My English has improved so much as I am always studying with English people and have made some good English friends. It is a challenging course because you have to work hard to get the higher grades.

– Lu H. (Chinese) from Shanxi Province in China came to the UK in July 2015 to study on the Access to Business International Foundation/Access university preparation Diploma.
She has received three offer to study Accounting with Finance at Southampton University, Reading and Portsmouth.

I had studied Marine Engineering six years ago in Eritrea but needed to understand the method of teaching and learning in the UK and so I came to study at Highbury as the Engineering Diploma was recommended by a UK university. It has been a challenging year and has helped me to be really prepared for higher education studies. The math’s teaching has been exemplary and inspirational. I now have offers from Portsmouth, London South Bank, Manchester and Surrey to study Petroleum Engineering and I am excited about my future now.
