Our purpose-built art and design studios include specialist workshop areas for textiles, 3D design and screen printing, a photographic darkroom and access to Mac and PC suites with the Adobe Creative Suite. You will have the opportunity to work on live projects for clients as well as self-directed ones, including creating your own work for the College’s annual Creative Showcase, which is open to the public.
Students will be taught by practicing artists and graphic designers with high levels of industry and educational experience. You will also be able to work with visiting artists and designers.
We embed maths and English in all our lessons and depending on your current levels, you will have the chance to either improve your GCSE grades or gain valuable Functional Skills qualifications if required.
