"My apprenticeship in accounting has helped me understand where and how particular figures are calculated and how they relate to the overall business accounts. The apprenticeship is great because both myself and the business benefit from the knowledge and confidence I am gaining."
"I started at Highbury on a Level 1 course nearly 4 years ago. Highbury has supported me all the way through and helped me find the apprenticeship I am doing now. I love working day-in, day-out with cars and I am getting so much more practical experience – it’s great."
"Being able to put what I've learnt at college into practice at work on a daily basis has actually been a far better experience than university. It's been intense and required a lot of self discipline. I spent a lot of lunch breaks doing mock shorthand exams and memorising media law, but it was worth it!"
"I enjoyed my apprenticeship, they're a good way of getting experience at a young age. You’re also treated more like an adult in the workplace. Highbury helped me with things like time management. My apprenticeship has kept me out of the classroom, which suits me more."
