Students from Highbury’s Access to Higher Education courses have progressed to universities both locally and throughout the country. They include Oxford and Cambridge, Brighton, Edinburgh, London SOAS, Manchester, Southampton, Sussex, Warwick, Winchester and York as well as the nearby Universities of Chichester and Portsmouth.
The Access to Higher Education Diploma is a Level 3 qualification and offers a range of pathways that could lead to a degree of your choosing, such as Business, Education, Pharmacy, Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Nutrition, Social Work, Health related degrees and Humanities degrees.
Applicants who take out the advanced learning loan need pay nothing upfront. The loan is paid off once you complete your course and are earning more than £25,000 per year. More information about Student Finance can be found here.

Due to popular demand and limitations in the Advanced Learner Loan funding, we are currently unable to offer Advanced Learner Loans for our online and classroom-based Access courses.
However, if you are aged 19–23 and the online/classroom-based Access course will be your first full Level 3 qualification, fee remission may apply, making the course free.
If you would like to start an online Access but are not eligible for fee remission, for a limited time we are offering 20% off the course fee.
We also welcome applications for the September 2020 classroom-based qualifications as these courses will be allocated Advanced Learner Loan funding from the 2020/21 academic year.
Please check this webpage regularly for updates as we will be applying for additional funding available from November.
