Bus passes

Highbury College can provide Stagecoach or First Provincial bus passes at a discounted price. To order one, fill in an application form from Student Support Services. You will need a passport-size photograph and £5 deposit when applying.

First bus passes are available in half-terms or full-terms and cost from £53.50 for half a term of travel within the Portsmouth Zone 3 area. An All Zones pass, which allows the holder to travel on First buses throughout Hampshire, is available from £75 for half a term. These passes are valid Monday to Friday during the term, although it is possible to upgrade the All Zones pass to include weekend travel. First Annual Bus Pass is also available, more information can be found on the Bus Pass Order Form.

A Stagecoach South Hampshire weekly ticket is available for £19.60. Alternatively, the Megarider ticket is suitable for use around Portsmouth and costs £53.50 for half a term or the South Hants Megarider Plus is suitable for a wider area and costs £77.80 for half a term. All Stagecoach tickets are valid seven days a week.

Rail fares

If there is no public transport available to you, Highbury College may help with the cost of rail fares. This is paid termly in arrears by a cheque which must be collected from Student Support Services. To claim, complete an application from the Information Centre, and your programme manager will need to verify the number of days you have attended College.
