
A fine family day out is forecasted when Highbury College Portsmouth holds a summer fair and community fun day.
The summer fair on Saturday June 19 will be the first the College has held at its new Highbury Campus and with a car boot sale and outdoor activities, there will be something for all ages to take part in and enjoy.
There will be plenty in the way of relaxation as well with the College's Eden Hair and Beauty Salon open and offering reduced rates for the day and eyebrow threading and henna tattooing also available. Entertainment will include music from Portsmouth’s community radio station, Express FM.
Teresa Cole, Head of the Community College at Highbury, says: "We are very excited to be holding our first Summer Fair at the Campus and we hope that everyone will come along for an enjoyable day.
"There will definitely be something for everyone and it will give people the opportunity to see the College's fantastic facilities which we can now hire out to individuals and community groups. We look forward to welcoming a good crowd."
The fair will run from 10am until 2pm and is free to attend. For those wanting a pitch for the car boot sale, the will be a small charge of £5 and they should arrive by 9.30am in order to reserve a space.
