The clock is ticking in the run up to Highbury's Got Talent 2010 and students are being urged to apply now to be in with a chance of winning the £100 first prize...
Organisers of the upcoming competition, to be held on Wednesday May 12 at 12.30pm at the Highbury Campus, are hoping for a real variety of acts, after impressive performances from the previous year's entrants.
The judging panel is yet to be confirmed but is set to include two presenters from Express FM, Portsmouth's community radio station, as well as two members of Highbury staff.
Effie Bonou, President of the College's Student Union, says: "This is a great opportunity for students to show their talents and receive feedback from the judging panel, which will be a new experience for some. The main thing about this event is that it is good fun and I hope people will enjoy it."
To enter for Highbury's Got Talent, please visit the Student Union at Highbury Campus, Northarbour Centre or Highbury City of Portsmouth Centre. Entries must be received by the deadline on Friday May 7 by 4.30pm.
