Case Study: Southern Gas Networks

Southern Gas Networks (SGN) provide the infrastructure and emergency cover for gas supplies in the South.

Highbury College works with SGN to boost the skill levels of SGN employees. Through a partnership approach the College has developed new training and assessment programmes for engineers to develop the skills necessary to obtain and maintain qualifications in accordance with national legal requirements.

SGN have also recently worked with Highbury at its dedicated training facilities at Highbury Northarbour Centre to develop an approved ACS gas training and assessment for industrial and commercial meter work, making it the first centre to achieve approval for these qualifications in the South.
