What are NOCN Qualifications?

The National Open College Network (NOCN) offers high quality, flexible courses and training. NOCN qualifications let you study at your own pace and work towards real qualifications by building up credits.

The Community College offers NOCN qualifications in Computing & IT, Preparing for Life & Work, Returning to Learning, Digital Photography, Personal & Creative Development, and Preparing for Life & Work.

If you achieve a national qualification you will receive a certificate to show that the qualification forms part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). These qualifications are nationally recognised and could help you progress to further study or work.

NOCN qualifications put you in the driving seat. You choose what to study, when to study and how much to study. A short qualification/course may offer one or two credits. Longer qualifications may offer over 15 credits.
