Disabled Access @ Highbury

Hi, I’m Josh. I came to Highbury College after taking a year out from education after completing a GNVQ Intermediate Media course at Treloar College, and my A-Levels at Alton College.

I have always had an interest in the media, so decided to come to Highbury to study a Foundation Degree in Professional Media Practise to further my understanding of how the media works and the way it impacts on all aspects of our lives.

I have also always had a strong interest in current affairs and politics, and while I was studying the Current Affairs module of this course, I realised I would like to study Politics further.

As a disabled person with a passion for writing, I wanted to get involved in helping the College publicise some of the great facilities that are available to students with disabilities.

Highbury City of Portsmouth Centre opened in 2008, and the new Campus has only recently opened. I hope that after visiting our website you, as a disabled student, feel that we have all the right facilities and expertise to help you fulfil your potential. Come along and see what we can offer you.
