Our community courses and training can help you learn something new, take up a new hobby or improve your chances of finding work. Community courses are available for groups and individuals, and take place at more than 50 community venues in and around Portsmouth, as well as Highbury College Centres.
We have years of experience delivering courses and training to discrete groups, which include courses for the over-60s, the unemployed, single parents, ethnic minority groups, people with learning difficulties or disabilities, the homeless and more.
We offer a wide variety of free Taster courses to get you started and provide staff training for schools and businesses. Our new Make it WORK programme offers work-focused training and support for the unemployed or anyone at risk of redundancy.
Training and courses can take place in the workplace, at a College Centre or a community venue at a time to suit you. Our two IT Flexi Learning Centres, at Highbury Campus and Highbury City of Portsmouth Centre allow you to study a range of courses at your own pace. A number of our courses are also available online.
We want you to get the most from Highbury College. Facilties are available for hire at competitive rates during non-teaching times.
If you would like more information about hiring facilities, any community courses or would like us to run a course from a community venue you are involved with please call (023) 9232 8677 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
