Tailor-made training
Highbury’s flexible training packages are designed to suit your business needs. We offer a large choice of certificated and non-certificated courses, which can be viewed by using the Course Search facility.
Additionally we offer bespoke training in the following areas, to employers across the UK:
- Leadership & Management: Team Leading and Supervisory Management skills, Coaching and Mentoring, Emotional Intelligence, Change Management, From Colleague to Line Manager, Leadership skills. Project Management
- People Development: Developing Training Plans, Legislation relating to Discipline and Grievance, How to run personnel investigations, Train the Trainer, Setting up an Appraisal Scheme, Selection & Interviewing, Improving productivity and efficiency, Developing Winning Teams, Assertiveness
- Team Building exercises/programmes, using a variety of fun interactive activities such as Ready, Steady Cook using the College’s superb kitchen facilities, sports and construction activities such as plastering and bricklaying.

- IT/Computing: Basic, Intermediate and advanced training in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access. IT Systems training in database and network management.
A free in-depth Training Needs Analysis (TNA) can be carried out to identify any skills gaps in your organisation, and recommendations can be made for the training required to close these gaps and improve efficiency.
Courses can be run at a range of sites, including your own, at a time to suit you. A range of courses and qualifications can also be studied in the workplace through the College’s successful eLearning programme or through work-based learning such as NVQs, IT training and health & safety.
If you already have a training programme, Highbury can map this against formal qualifications such as an NVQ. This means that the structure of your staff training remains the same, but employees can gain nationally recognised qualifications.
