Pre-16 Programmes
If you are in years 10 or 11, you can come to Highbury to gain experience in a specific area of work. You will spend a few hours a week at the College, and this training is incorporated into your school timetable.
When you complete the course, you'll gain a qualification or College Certificate, as well as insight into a potential career, plus you'll build up skills and knowledge that will help you with your GCSEs.
At present we have approximately 450 pupils from 15 different schools coming in every week.
You can choose from a wide variety of courses including, Automotive, Hairdressing, Construction, Catering, Engineering, Computing, Fashion, Childcare, Art and Design and Motorcycle Maintenance.
If you are interested in studying a Pre-16 course yourself, you will need to speak to a relevant member of staff at your school.
